Each self-catering holiday home is maintained to a high standard, perfect for families or a large group of friends. These 3 bed self-catering holiday homes in Killaloe sleep 6 guests and have 3 bedrooms:

Bedroom 2: double sleeping 2 with ensuite bathroom
Family bathroom with shower over bath

Ample off-street car parking and Wi-Fi is available at Lakeside Holiday Homes.

There is also a small playground on site for kids.

Local Area & Tourist Attractions

Guests can access the town via a path, woodland walk, and beautiful boardwalk along Lough Derg. You and your guests will enjoy the pleasant 10-minute walk to the many amenities these two lakeside towns have to offer. With a vast array of land and water activities, historic sites, and a bustling nightlife, Killaloe and Ballina have long been a much-loved holiday destination and a wonderful base for a self-catering holiday in Ireland.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Heating and Electricity:

This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager before arrival how this is calculated or before making the booking.

2. Security Deposit:

A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid before check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

3. Towels:

Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).

Fantastic, the holiday homes are beautiful and are based in the scenic and vibrant Killaloe."The layout. It was excellent for a party of 6. Each couple had their own bathroom facilities""There wasn’t anything we disliked. If I was pushed to make a comment, they need to look at providing better drinking glasses, ie there was only one decent wine glass (obviously an essential when holidaying with a group of 6 adults) and only one extremely large sharp knife (needs a small utility knife). Lovely property in a great location"Spent 4 night in one of these properties in Killaloe with 3 young kids and a baby. Couldn’t fault the property, had everything required for an enjoyable stay. Hotel next door within a min walk and shops and other restaurants within walking distance for adults and older kids than ours. Supervalu, Aldi and other grocery stores in the town. Lovely area..."The house was easy to book with helpful staff in the office and the property manager Melissa was a pleasure to deal with and couldn't be more helpful. The house was nice and clean and well located. The cost of heating the house was expensive as everything is electric from hot water with the immersion to the storage heaters and electric heaters in the bedrooms so that incurred a hefty additional cost to the stay. Family Holiday"The house was very big and spacious. Had all the essentials including towels, lots of pillows and duvets. The kitchen was stocked with dishwasher and washing machine tablets. The area was quiet which meant we could leave the windows open at night during the hot weather. The kids could safely play outside as the car park and surrounding areas were quiet, ""I would have liked heavier curtains in the bedrooms. The curtains are very light which meant we were waking up at 6am every morning. The kitchen could do with a new set of spoons and glasses. They were clean but mismatched. The cooker knobs had no text so it was a guessing game to figure out the grill/oven. I would also have liked instructions for the microwave."- Linda26/07/2022

Short break in Killaloe "The accommodation was better than I expected with two bathrooms & an en-suite for the three bedrooms. Bedrooms were lovely & clean. Dining and seating areas were very comfortable for the 5 of us & the little extras like the milk in the fridge & washing up liquid, dishwashers tabs & tea towel were an added bonus. Close enough to the village, although we didn’t manage to walk in but there were some lovely walks close by that we did. ""A wine opener would have been handy. We called in on a neighbour! Kilalloe"All other beds were in good condition. Plenty of kitchen ware which was great, house lovely and warm throughout the week. Hairdryer was not supplied, had been on a previous visit. ""took bed covers off matress on the bed on the first floor, condition of matress warrents a replacement. Stained and well used, most uncomfortable to sleep on.
