Knocknagree is a pretty village in north-west Cork. This pristine village is 1.6 km from the Cork, Kerry border, and looks south towards the Blackwater River. There are many fishing opportunities locally on the Blackwater and Owentaraglin Rivers known to be very popular with anglers all around the country.
Knocknagree is a peaceful village surrounded by magnificent scenery within the Sliabh Luachra Region. When staying in our holiday accommodation guests must travel to Rathmore or Boherbue for groceries, 7km away. Both pretty villages have a selection of amenities including grocery stores, pharmacies, post offices, hardware stores, and traditional pubs.
Knocknagree is a great holiday base for touring Cork, Kerry, and Limerick. The village of Knocknagree is 13km from Millstreet town in County Cork and 24km from the bustling town of Killarney in County Kerry, famous for Killarney National Park. Mallow is renowned for its historic Mallow Castle, which dates back to the 16th century. The castle is an iconic landmark and a great place to visit whilst staying in Knocknagree.
