The wild Atlantic coast, unique Burren Region and the shores of the River Shannon offer visitors some really stunning scenic walks and mountain biking opportunities. There are any number of outdoor activities on offer including diving, sailing, fishing and horse riding. The county also boasts some world class golf courses such as Doonbeg Golf Club, Lahinch Golf Course and Dromoland Colf Club in addition to a wide variety of smaller local courses and pitch and putt.
