Forest Haven holiday homes are located in a quiet enclave as you enter Dunmore East, close to all of the amenities of this lovely fishing village with its working harbour and 2 lovely coves, Counsellor’s Strand and Lawlor’s Strand.

The 3 bedroom holiday homes are semi-detached, beautifully maintained and each has open plan living, dining and kitchen area on the ground floor, with French doors opening out onto the patio in the small garden, which is not enclosed. On the first floor there is a double bedroom (en suite) and two twins together with a family bathroom.

As the village is centered around its quaint harbour, there can be no surprise at the wide variety of water based activities available to visitors. These include Sea Safari boat tours of the coast, deep sea charters, angling charters, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing and power boating all operating from the harbour, which also houses the local fishing fleet. This maritime theme is evident in many of the local restaurants and pubs most of which serve locally caught fresh fish.

This self catering accommodation in Dunmore East Co. Waterford is a prime location from which to tour the surrounding county of Waterford and its neighbours, Cork, Kilkenny and Wexford.

Just back from a fabulous week away in Dunmore East. These houses are clean spacious and well equipped for our family of two adults and three children. Easy access to village able to walk everywhere, a good break from battling with car seats. Definitely recommend these houses for comfort. Kim is always available and interested in making sure you enjoy the area looking forward to returning next summer.

Our 2nd time in Forest Haven ,and as like before property was in excellent condition and ready for us early than expected. Situated in great spot for all village and also getting in and out of Dunmore for other sites.. wish I had rang Kim earlier and known about local food deliveries in to to house!

Our 2nd time staying at No. 13 Forest Haven. Lovely house with big living space. 4 adults and 2 children very comfortable in space. Ideal location to beach and village. Was able to park up car for two weeks and walk everywhere. Kim as always very nice and helpful in the property management side of the house. Will definitely be back next year.

Very nice house, spotless, perfectly located close to the village. Fine and room slept 4 adults and 2 kids comfortably. Will be returning next year again for sure. Can’t fault these houses. Fabulous place to holiday. Property manager is a fabulous lady. Very welcoming and helpful.

Stayed in 4 Forest Haven in June 2015.
Pluses: 5 mins walk to both upper and lower villages.
Large, open plan living, kitchen and dining area.
Full satellite tv.
Minuses: No downstairs toilet.
Overlooked at back, had to keep two upstairs rear bedroom curtains closed all the time.
Barking and howling dog in neighbour's garden directly behind the house.

Enjoyed our holiday at forest haven. Very nice house plenty of room. Very near to village for pubs etc. Internet and mobile connection not so good, also television kept flicking if you wanted to watch bbc, itv programmes but really enjoyed our two weeks.

We are every year in Ireland - mostly with Trident. The House in Forest Haven was perfect for us (4 adults). The kitchen and the living room are together, so there is a lot of space to eat, play and relax. It's a quiet location with a good connection to Waterford. The House itself is very clean and Kim was great and help us by everything. The one negative point was, that you have a really bad mobile and internet connection - but we were on holiday, so it could be also a good point ;-)
Looking forward for next year in Ireland with Trident.

Enjoyed our stay at Forest Haven, ideal location, close to beach and attractive fishing village. Poor mobile and internet service here but able to use 'Meteor' service in some locations. The house was ideal for the six of us, and because of the open plan arrangement of the sitting/dining/kitchen area we were able to entertain a family group of sixteen one evening, who were staying in nearby properties or live in Ireland (which is why we were there). Friendly service from supervisor Kim including a free pumpkin for Halloween (nice touch). Altogether a relaxing and enjoyable experience in a quiet and friendly place for our October half term 2014.

Forest Haven is a great place to stay, house well equipped, very clean, And in a great location to local beach, pubs and restaurants, this was our 3rd Trident holiday in Dunmore East, Kim the supervisor always very help, little or no phone reception, which can be a nuisance at times, and no Internet at all, but we still had a great time, hoping to go back in 2015
We stayed for two weeks in June 2014

Forest Haven holiday homes are in a fantastic location a short walk to the strand and the shops are easily reached on foot too. House very clean and well equipped. Looking forward to returning again next year.

The location was fantastic and the house was very well equipped. TV reception wasn't great, but the weather was superb, so not too much television! Beds were very comfortable. Perfect for a family. I was amazed how clean the house was when we arrived, that was very welcoming and appreciated! Kim was very helpful and friendly, we hope to return to Forest Haven again another time.

The location was great and it was easy to walk into both the strand and the village. Excellent facilities. Yes the phone signal is not great but we did receive calls. We could follow the map and found the cottage with ease. We did drive past but just turned the car around when we realised. Kim and her staff are great and where on hand if we had a query. Would certainly stay again.

The Forest Haven home is first class in appearance, décor, cleanliness and access to the village. Unfortunately because of geography it lacks cellphone coverage. Lack of a house landline also means there is no internet nor emergency contact facility. In addition lack of signage and adequate directions makes it difficult to find.
Trident management responded to the difficulty that posed for us in a manner that was fully satisfactory.

My sisters and myself have stayed in the Trident holiday homes for the last five years, we mostly stayed at Dunmore east, Waterford, we love every minute, from the friendly welcome when we arrive to the weeks stay at a very clean and well equipped house, every thing you need, we will be back again next year.
