Fishermans Grove holiday homes are located in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of this charming fishing village. The sandy cove of Counsellors Strand is only a five minute walk from the properties as are two pubs, which both serve excellent freshly caught seafood. More pubs, restaurants, a hotel, shops and a post office are less than ten minutes walk from the holiday homes, together with a large public playground and public tennis courts.
The holiday homes are only a five minute drive from Dunmore East Golf Club with its fabulous cliff top location and reasonable green fees, which make it ideal for a holiday round of golf.
Each of the 3 bedroom holiday homes have a spacious living room on the ground floor with double doors leading to an open plan kitchen / dining area, also cloakroom with wc and wash hand basin . French doors open onto the patio. On the first floor there is a double bedroom (en suite), a twin and single together with a family bathroom. There is on site-tennis for guests
My second year to stay in Fishermans Grove and I wasn't disappointed. We had a 2 bedrooms this time because we booked late but it was very spacious with an ensuite double room. Very clean with comfortable beds and a fully supplied kitchen with everything one would have in ones own home. A special mention for the manager Kim who cannot be more obliging. Look forward ro returning as much as our dog!!

I won a week’s stay in a Trident holiday home for anywhere in Ireland after a browse through the brochure we decided on Fisherman’s Grove in Dunmore East .....the holiday was very much welcomed after the death of my mother so off we headed to Dunmore East, we have never been to that area before so there was excitement for my two boys to be staying in a holiday home. When we arrived we were delighted that it was so near Dunmore walking distance from the beach the house itself was nice and roomy spotlessly clean and very well maintained and very well equipped, the manager Kim greeted us with a warm welcome and gave us her phone number and told us ring at any time day or night if we needed anything which was reassuring to us. Dunmore itself is a lovely spot nice and relaxing with nice bars and restaurants in the area a nice base if you wanted to tour Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny all within an hour’s drive Waterford, 20 mins away a great place for kids is Dunmore adventure centre lots of activities for kids, there is a charge but worth every penny. Again thank you to Trident holiday homes and defiantly will holiday again with ye also id have no problem in recommending the houses to anyone top marks from Derek, Eileen, Cor and Luke Mc Greevy.

If like me, you prefer more recent reviews, then I am happy to say all the reviews previously remain true. We have stayed several times over the years and these houses are very well maintained.

We love Dunmore East and have been many many times. We have stayed at Fishermans Grove before. It is well located for local amenities and the house was clean and beds comfortable. We came in early February so had the heating on and, although we were only in in the evenings, had a 50 euro fuel bill for a 5 night stay which we thought was pricey.Nevertheless, we will be back! Kim was accessible , attentive and most welcoming.

Surprised, homely feel, flat screen TV, well equipped, beds were quality, well finished house, really better than expected. Very friendly and helpful to deal with. Would visit again - 10/10 for what you could expect from this type of house.

Good sized house, very clean and in a nice development of similar houses with tennis court across the drive from the house. Lovely Italian restaurant and great kiddie playground in the village. Had a great time on the beach and took a short trip to Hook lighthouse where the kids had an art class and tour of the lighthouse. Tramore was close enough and might make the swimming pool there next time.

House was perfect for our stay - and very well equipped. Mrs Judge was friendly, informative and made us feel very welcome. We will certainly return. Thank you.

Perfect location, Dunmore East has loads to offer, our house was a 5 minutes stroll to the strand, 10 minutes to harbour. The location was quiet which suited us perfectly. Our house was spotless & well equipped. The back garden was ideal and it was lovely to be able to sit outside in the evenings. The supervisor was really welcoming. For me the downside of our house, having 2 small kids, was that the blind cords were loose and the windows opened out fully. If that was not a concern I couldn't recommend the place enough. Hopefully we will be back!

My fiancee and I returned to Fisherman's Grove for a second stay in May 2014 and were not disappointed. The house was spotless and comfortable, and in the dog-friendly houses the gardens are fully enclosed. The location is superb, only a 5-10 minute walk to the strand. Dunmore East has beautiful scenery, lovely restaurants and wonderful walks. The site manager was very friendly and accommodating. For the price, I would highly recommend it. We had absolutely no complaints and will be back!

Absolutely fantastic location, 5 minute walk from great pubs, restaurants and beach and 10 minute drive to Woodstown beach which is the dogs favourite. Lovely walks in woods at the back of the house. Spotlessly clean and spacious and well equipped. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Stayed in Fishermans Grove at the school midterm with our 2 kids and had a great time. It was a lovely big house, well equipped and comfortable. Only Irish TV though, so be sure to bring a few DVDs if you're staying in! They're nicely located too, just a couple of minutes walk (with small kids) from the sandy beach and the village. The kids loved the playground and we got lucky with the weather so we were there every day as well as lots of walking - the pier, beach, etc. There's a few nice spots to eat too, so we managed to have some family friendly lunches. Will definitely be back!
