This vibrant West of Ireland town offers lively pubs with traditional music, excellent restaurants, great cafes and an eclectic mix of craft shops. 8 km away is Croagh Patrick a challenging climb that rewards hillwalkers with magnificent views of Clew Bay.These self catering cottages are a great base to tour Mayo with fascinating attractions such as Knock Shrine, Ceide Fields and The Quite Man Cottage along with its rugged landscape it is county with much to offer. Its neighbouring counties of Sligo and Galway are equally fascinating and give a genuine picture of the West of Ireland.
