A lovely townhouse, situated in a residential area is less than a five minute walk from the very heart of this historic harbour town of Kinsale. Known as the ‘Gourmet Capital of Ireland’, there is a great choice of excellent restaurants, family run delicatessens, cafés and pubs. The town’s gourmet tradition is celebrated every October during the ‘Kinsale Gourmet Festival’.
The 3 bedroom holiday home has an open plan kitchen / dining area with patio doors onto a small patio. (this area is on two levels and not suitable for toddlers). There is a separate living room with open fire and French doors to the Kitchen Diner.
Besides being one of the prettiest maritime ports in Cork, staying in Kinsale opens up all sorts of possibilities – Cork city to the East is just 30 km away and well worth a visit to its galleries, shops, restaurants and famous English Market. And to the West you have Bantry Bay, Garnish Island, and all the little villages of West Cork and its stunning coastline.
Comfortable and well equipped house. In a really handy location just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre. Pat(caretaker)was really helpful and gave us lots of useful advice about restaurants, attractions etc. Had a great time and would warmly recommend.
