This little cluster of holiday homes are at the edge of the picturesque village of Ardgroom, on the spectacular Beara Peninsula in West Cork. The Beara Peninsula stretches from Glengarriff to Dursey Island and back to Kenmare and is the wildest of the peninsulas in the South West. The area offers a wealth of activities for the holiday maker including magnificent scenic drives taking in the lovely villages on the way. There is a stony beach called Puleen 5km from Ardgroom Village and further afield, 15km, there is also a beautiful sandy beach in Allihies.
The terraced properties have spacious living accommodation with an open plan kitchen/dining/living area with an open fire. On the first floor, there is one double bedroom en suite, one twin room and one smaller double room (with a 4ft bed) and a family bathroom. There is a WC on the ground floor.
There are many historical sites in the area well worth a visit, ranging from Ogham Stones to Wedge Graves, Stone Circles to ancient church sites. The mountainous peninsula is framed by the wild Atlantic Ocean – which you can cross over in a tiny cable-car to Dursey Island on a calm day! These lovely holiday homes make a perfect holiday base for visitors to West Cork.
