This is a wonderful location with great views and the tennis court two doors down from us was an excellent facility to grab a half hour hitting the balls with the kids. The rooms were spacious and kept very well. The kitchen facilities were very good but you should stock it with a chopping board (it’s a little improvement). The garden was excellently kept with a lovely lawn to sit out on or place football or just even catch. The village is just a 5 min walk and the garage very handy for picking up essentials. Well done Trident and we will definitely be back. This summer if I can swing it.

House was spotless. Trident staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Staff on site were equally helpful. Will definitely book with Trident again.

I had a different holiday home this year. The décor was a bit drab and unimaginative but everything was clean and there was a great stock of kitchen ware and cutlery. When dishwasher was full I still had enough stock to get by, which was great. There were certain items missing, a grill and saucepan covers, potato masher and fish slice, but I am nit picking. We also had an issue with the electrics during our stay, which was sorted efficiently by Thurston, the electrician. Overall the house was very spacious, well located in the village of Liscannor. My teenage daughter enjoyed the 3 single bedroom as she had friends comes visit and it accommodated all 3 of them for cozy late night chats. The house sleeps 8 in total (4 bedroom house) which gave us great flexibility to entertain visitors. Nanda, the Manager was more than helpful and called round to make sure we had everything and accommodated any requests very graciously. She is an asset to Trident as she is a practical Manager who gets her job done. We enjoyed our stay very much but preferred how No. 2 cottage was decorated with the added extra welcoming little touches. Overall, as last year we had a wonderfully happy stay in Liscannor and at a very good rate (special offer of 2 weeks for price of 1) Thank you all at Trident.

Dear Trident Staff.
My daughters and I had a most wonderful time in this beautiful holiday home. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and very welcoming. The agent Mags could not have been nicer, more professional or helpful. We had every luxury at our disposal and enjoyed staying in this beautiful house for our stay. The only small thing that I could fault would be the fact that there were no facilities for drying any washed clothes, or damp towels from beach etc. apart from a clothes horse provided. Erecting a clothes line would sort this issue as there is certainly no shortage of windy days up the Clare Coast. Overall I would like to say that I would rate this property very highly and any friends who visited were also extremely impressed.

The house was spotlessly clean , bright , airy. Plenty of cooking utensils, lacked nothing.

We have just returned from a week in this holiday village. Liscannor is lovely, very near Lahinch's big beach and other amenities like Moher Hill Pet Farm or further afield The Ailwee Caves both of which our 3 and 5 year old loved.
The site itself is quiet with a playground and tennis court and manager Mags was very friendly and helpful on the phone and in person. She organised a leaky shower to be fixed within 24 hours and had lots of useful information on the locality.
The property itself was very bright, airy and clean. We have stayed in a lot of holiday homes over the years and often there are thread bare curtains and the same faded duvet sets trotted out every year. The towels and bed linen were hotel quality spotless white linen. The kitchen was well equipped, including having a wide range of cooking utensils and saucepans ( another problem I have encountered over the years is there are never any saucepans large enough to boil pasta etc), not a problem here kitchen was great. The also seemed to be a New fridge and tv in our house. There is a fire place there so bring fire logs but really we only needed heating on one wet evening.
The only downside I could see was the fact that some of the houses are now up for sale in the holiday village so I am not sure will the holiday atmosphere be the same next year, it was all friendly families with young children with lots of playing outside.
One or two houses seemed to be occupied more long term and one house had a dog. Normally dogs are not allowed on sites as all the gardens are open to each other. One of my children is very fearful of dogs so that was probably my only complaint.
There is a lovely chipper in Liscannor using real potatoes, fish and chicken etc. We also visited a Creperie called Ooh la la in Ennistimon on our way home after getting a flyer in the door. It was a genuine French creperie, I would highly recommend it.
Great holiday overall, we will be back.

Brilliant as usual. Convenient to Lahinch Beach, Clahane for fantastic swimming. Miltown Malbay for the music. Best Fish and chipper in Ireland in Liscannor. Spacious house in the midst of beautiful scenery. Spacious house and amenities excellent. Congrats to the wonderful Mags and staff for making us so welcome. Hopefully we will be back soon again. Great offers on Trident. ***** five stars

What a fabulous holiday we had . Great location With our young family at the start of September . Great place to base yourself to visit all the attractions around Claire . The Cliffs of Moher are only up the the road. Lahinch is a short distance 5km. What a beach for walking running or just getting out in the fresh air. Lahinch has a great playground . Liscannor cottages were so clean . Grounds were well maintained . There's a playground and tennis court on site . My kids loved it. The staff Debbie was fabulous . She couldn't do enough for us . I can't leave without saying I visited one of best pet farms with a most amazing indoor play area with a bouncing castle . Kept the kids entertained for hrs . Thanks Moher pet farm. I would recommended Liscannor as a place to base yourself no matter what age u are. Sile &family

Great location - would like more instructions on how to use heating, washer/dryer etc. as we don't have them in Australia like that.

Great location on the outskirts of the village. Good base for touring around the burren, local towns or simply a stroll into Liscannor to sample Vaughans or Egans

Fantastic week with young family at end of August. Lovely house in a great location. Great for outdoor pursuits with easy access to cycle routes, spectacular cliff runs, beautiful ocean swimming. Great central location for touring the burren, visiting Aran islands and surfing the many surf Meccas along the west coast. Excellent restaurants and pubs in the area too. Fantastic family location and great value too. Will definitely return.

We rented 2 houses for a family gathering in July and had a wonderful stay. Excellent location to Liscannor and further afield, lots of space in the houses. Only quibble was about the irregular rubbish removal. Will definitely go back!

Emma P - 26/08/2013 21:22:47

Excellent. Had a wonderful stay. Brilliant amenities within a few minutes drive in Lahinch. Some incredible hidden gems in the area. Spectacular scenery. 10 out of 10

Rented a holiday home in Liscannor for a week, and we were impressed. We have a 4 month old child and the house was perfect for our needs, very practical layout and functional for family living.
It also was very clean and well looked after.
It is just on the outskirts of the village, which made it ideal for a stroll into having a bite to eat or a lovely Guinness in Vaughans.
Just one fault, extra bedding ( blankets, duvets) would be an added bonus.
Looking forward to returning to Liscannor.
