These lovely semi-detached holiday homes are situated just 3 minutes’ walk from Lahinch beautiful sandy beach and town centre. The town centre of Lahinch has an excellent choice of restaurants, lively bars, and a breath-taking links golf course.
Lahinch is famous for its blue flag beach and has become a Mecca for surfers in the last 10 years. It is home to a number of surf schools catering for surfers of all abilities. The beach is manned by lifeguards for July and August so if kitesurfing, kayaking, swimming, boogie boarding or building sandcastles is your thing then this beach has it all.
Located on the promenade overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is Lahinch Seaworld which houses a 25m pool and an aquarium. There is also a new gym and fitness centre, Gymworld.
For those who fancy Golf there is the famous Links Championship Golf course in the town as well as East Clare Golf club and Doonbeg Golf Club nearby.
Lahinch is close to many of Clare’s most popular attractions. A short drive away is the fishing village of Doolin which is renowned for its traditional Irish music. From Doolin harbour you can take a trip to the Aran Island’s via Doolin Ferries.
On the way to Doolin why not stop off at the Cliffs of Moher visitor centre and view the magnificent cliffs plunging into the Atlantic Ocean. For those interested in nature the Burren is right on your doorstep, the Burren National Park offers many signposted walks to explore the phenomenal flora and fauna. Also worth visiting is the Aillwee Caves and Birds of Prey Centre.
As a touring base Lahinch is perfect to tour the West Coast of Ireland, Galway, Limerick and Kerry (via theTarbert Ferry) are all within easy reach.
