Located just a short walk to Kilkee town and the stunning blue flag beach, Moore Bay holiday homes are the perfect destination for family holidays with on-site tennis courts, crazy golf, a football pitch and toddler’s play area. In addition to its fantastic beach, Kilkee is home to Waterworld (an indoor aqua park) and a Pitch & Putt in the town centre, which has a great selection of restaurants and pubs.
The 3 bedroom holiday homes provide spacious accommodation in the 2 storey properties, with an open plan kitchen / dining area and a living room with French doors onto the patio on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a double bedroom (en suite), a twin and a single together with a family bathroom.
The Moore Bay holiday homes are within easy drive of all this area has to offer, including Loop Head, popular for dolphin and whale watching, the Cliffs of Moher, and the Killimer – Tarbet ferry opens up the possibility to easily explore North Kerry.
Stayed two weeks in 14A. Had a wonderful time. The house was in good condition and very clean. We stayed from 13/8/2016 to 27th August 2016.

Stayed in 24b, fantastic house, new fridge and oven, everything spotlessly clean and in great working order.

Stayed in 3A . Property close to all amenities, spacious and homely but needs updating , could have been cleaner on arrival. Jenny the onsite manager was very polite and helpful. .

Had a lovely fortnight in 14A. The house is idea for a holiday home and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The house could do with a number of updates/repairs, such as a rod for opening the velux window, a working iron, updated TV, Various knobs and curtain fittings to be repaired. However, we would be happy to take this house again. Jenny the Trident "on site manager" was excellent and could not have been more helpful.

Thank you for my great surprise of winning the competition. Myself and 4 children had a great time on our long weekend (June bank holiday). The house has everything you would need for a comfortable break. The kids had good fun in the play area. The only thing I'd change is the curtains they are too thin. Overall we had a brilliant time. Thank you again.

We had a fantastic week in Kilkee. The house is a little out dated but it was clean and everything worked properly. The manager, Jenny, was very helpful. Like other reviews my only small complaint is that the curtains in the bedrooms need to be replaced as they let the light in. This aside I will definitely return as the tennis courts, playground, soccer pitch and crazy golf on site were a huge plus. You are also within walking distance of the beach which was great. We loved the area, there's loads to do! We will be back!

Loved the house in Moore bay (15B). It was clean and well presented. Comments ( the trouble with comments is that they are invariable negative) we would happily stay in that house again! However, various wardrobes and chests of drawers could be repaired, there could be a lock on the bathroom door, and the panels in the kitchen could be repaired. A leaflet explaining the electric meter, the operation of the Chorus TV system, the keys for bins, French windows, bin collection days and recycling, for instance, for glass. Non Irish residents may not be used to local procedures. We had a lovely time and the comments are mere niggles. We will be back!

Had a lovely week in Kilkee recently. Moore Bay houses in a great location. House clean and mostly in good condition. Few small carpentry issues that could be easily sorted eg drawer fronts loose and two missing. Good value for money and would consider returning in the future. On site manager helpful and always seemed to be around if needed.

Once again,I am pleased to indicate that I have had an excellent holiday in Moore Bay Holiday Homes. The house was generally in excellent condition and clean. As previously reported, the electric cookers in Moore Bay continue to be anti-diluvian and need to be updated; they are a significant black mark on the quality of the houses. The new curtains are a great improvement but the hooks that fix them to the mounting rings have a tendency to fall out of the rings; the mounting arrangement would need to be improved in order to avoid damage to the curtains. The site supervisor provided an excellent service and the weather in Kilkee was fantastic. I hope to return to Moore Bay in the near future.

We really enjoyed our stay in this property, as has been said on another review a new cooker would be a plus. the curtains are also a little worse for wear but we will be back:)

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Moore Bay. The house was a good size and was very clean on our arrival. The kids enjoyed the use of the playground and tennis courts onsite and the large green area was great for playing football and hurling. The only negative for us was the dogs allowed to run loose around the holiday village which lead to unsafe dog faeces around the green areas. We would definately consider returning again. Kilkee is a fantastic holiday location for families.

Stayed in Moore Bay for a week recently with small kids. Had stayed a few times before and would strongly recommend it for families. It's a short walk into town and all amenities but the playground on site is a huge plus as there is tennis and basketball courts, crazy golf, a large green and a play area for the smallees. There is also a tennis camp on site every week during the summer for just E15. The house is spacious and clean and well equipped. The only negative is that it is beginning to need a bit of a face lift: Duvet covers while clean did not fasten at the end and are the same ones as when we stayed years ago (had photos of previous stay); curtains coming off the rails and yes the cooker needs replacing.Despite these I would still recommend it and will certainly return.

We had a very enjoyable holiday , the house was spotlessly clean, and quite spacious, a fantastic supply of hot water as alot of showers were taken due to all the swimming that was done! The adjoining playground was a great place for the kids to mix and they made alot of new friends. Overall a very enjoyable experience, the only downside was the location of the bins beside the playground and the cooker was a bit limited. Will definitely return again.

Just back from a week at Moore Bay. Lovely house, very clean throughout and comfortable beds. The little playground on site was fantastic but as someone else mentioned not ideal to have the bins right beside it. I was pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the kitchen was. My only gripe would be with the curtains in the bedrooms, they are very poor quality and and our children were awake at 5.30am every morning with the light! Overall would recommend Moore Bay as a great place for families.

This is our 5th year in a row stopping for a week in Kilkee (last 4 years using Moore Bay). The houses & facilities are always clean and also very close to all amenities including the beach, which is ideal when you have small children. Will definitely be back again.
Jason Farrell - 06/08/2013 15:44:39
Had a lovely stay in Moore Bay. Great facilities for young kids and lots of green areas to play in, and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Trident were very easy to deal with and the on-site supervisor was very helpful. The only suggestion I would make is to move the rubbish bins to a different area away from the playground. I would definitely return to Moore Bay and book with Trident again.

we had a few minor issues in 25a and 25d shower wouldnt close properly and washer dryer only works as a washer. I brought my sister and her husband from holland over this year and my other sister and her daughter and they all agreed that with the right weather moore bay is brilliant all round.

Stayed in Moore Bay week beginning 13th July, 2013. Booked two houses for families with young children which were convientently located accross lawn from each other which meant kids did not have to cross road. Staff were very friendly. Houses very basic and clean. Did a lot of cooking due to the ammount of small children in both families. would have preferred a better cooker. Would definately use Trident again.
Jodie Gasyon - 26/07/2013 16:43:19
I have dealt with trident for the past 10 years booking holiday homes and they are excellent. Very professional and pleasant staff. Houses are always very clean also
Chris Burke - 04/07/2013 07:01:26
We had a very pleasant holiday in Moore Bay Holiday Homes. The house in which we stayed had been recently refurbished and was in a very good condition. We received excellent support from Trident Holiday Homes on-site supervisor. Just one negative point - the electric cooker could do with an upgrade.
