These wonderful self catering holiday homes are located beside the village of Corofin in county Clare in the heart of the Burren National Park. The houses overlook Lake Inchiquin with magnificent views of the whole area. They are a 5 minute drive from the village which boast some fine traditional music pubs, restaurants and local shops.
Corofin is ideally located to tour the whole of Clare which has a multitude of things to do and places of historical and geographical interest. For walking enthusiasts or nature lovers the world famous flora and fauna of the Burren is a real draw. There is a great selection of way-marked Walking Trails in the Burren National Park. The Aillwee Caves are just short drive away as are The Cliffs of Moher, Ireland's most visited attraction. This part of County Clare coast is famous for good surf and there are a number of surf schools and equipment stores in the area including the Lahinch Surf School just 20 minutes away and Aloha Surf School on Fanore’s fabulous Blue Flag beech.
Great golf courses are abundant in this part of Clare. The famous Links Course in Lahinch being the closest. Corofin lake cottages are beside Lake Inchiquin which makes them an angler’s paradise; boats are always available for hire. Just a few miles away is Banner Equestrian Centre which caters for all ages and all levels of horse riding experience.
Finally Corofin is under an hour from Galway and Limerick City both of which are well worth a visit. Each one offers a fascinating mixture of historical and modern Ireland along with great restaurants night life and cultural events.
