Wild Atlantic Way

Wild Atlantic Way

Wild Atlantic Way, a journey of discovery along 2,500Km of Ireland's rugged western coast. Designated by Fáilte Ireland to bring you on a coastal driving route along the wild, rugged, liberating west coast of Ireland. The journey will take you along the atlantic coast from Donegal’s Malin Head in the North to Cork’s Mizen Head in the South, the longest defined coastal drive in the world.

Wherever you go along the Wild Atlantic Way, you will encounter moments of magic, moments to treasure and experiences that you will want to return to again and again. Absorb Irish culture at its best in the Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking regions), take a sandy trek on a Connemara pony in Galway, watch the Atlantic waves crash on the Cliffs of Moher in Clare, walk in the footsteps of the ancient monks on the majestic Skellig Michael in Kerry and experience the lush vegetation of Garnish Island in Cork. There is something for everyone to discover along the Wild Atlantic Way.
